FOUR MEMBERS from the Philosophy Department at San Diego State University offered
Diversity: From Theory to Practice”  at the Second Annual
Diversity Conference

April Gabrielle moved the discussion into the realm of practice. Maternal expertise was highlighted in “How Do You Teach Diversity to Your Children?” while the student perspective addressed “Are You Ready to Be Real?” The overall intent was to help participants get beneath the jargon and dare to ask tough questions that probe the meaning of diversity in today’s world.
